NeckAlways remember to hold your head up, as it is good for the neck and for general postures. Practice walking with a book balanced on the head.If you are above the age of 25, you could start taking regular facials. A facial massage includes the neck and helps to keep lines at bay. For your daily routine, allot a minute or two to the neck.
Using a pre-bath gel, massage the neck area with downward strokes, one hand following the other. A gel containing lemon and turmeric provided a gentle whitening effect.
Very often the colour of the skin on the neck is darker than that of the facial skin. A lemon and turmeric gel would remove this colour difference. The skin will be kept well moisturized and thus counteract the harsh, drying effect of soap.BackA great deal of attention should be paid to the back while bathing. Use a long handled soft brush, or a cloth to scrub the area gently to keep it clean and free of clogged pores.
For scars, or for discoloured skin, lemon-turmeric gel can be applied on the area, while an anti-blemish ointment should be rubbed into the skin.

Stress and nervous tension certainly contributes to the likelihood of migraine. Also liver functioning incorrectly, a poor diet, constipation, eye strain, hormonal imbalance allergic reaction to certain foods or troublesome wisdom teeth can trigger it.
Quick comforters Baked potato: Eat plain without salt, butter or cheese. This is one remedy which works very well indeed.
Tinned Tomatoes: Simmer tinned tomatoes with lots of basil with a dash of vinegar.
Fruit ice cubes: Made with lemon or pineapple juice, these can be sucked when drinks may cause nausea. The icy cubes are wonderfully soothing to sore throats and can also be given to feverish children but should then be frozen on sticks to prevent accidents.
Fennel: A vapour inhalant made by infusing 50g fennel seeds in 1 litre of boiling water will relieve aching eyes and itchy eyelids. Bathe the forehead and temples with the cool liquid three times a day to relieve migraine.
Oregano: Use oregano as it is reputed to contain more thymol and is therefore more effective. The dried and powdered leaf can be used as a snuff to clear blocked sinuses whilst the fresh leaf simmered in oil is an old recipe for a headache ointment.
Place the oregano and petroleum jelly in a bowl and stand it in a pan of boiling water. Simmer gently for one hour.
Strain and press out through a fine cloth then pot and seal. This not only brings relief to an aching head when rubbed on the temples but will also ease the sinuses if rubbed around the nose.
Camomile or lemon grass: Two drops of the essential oil of either, added to 2 teaspoons of sunflower oil should be rubbed into the temples.

Home wiseFor stubborn stains on marble, use a solution of one part hydrogen peroxide and two parts water. Put this solution onto the stain and then add a few drops of household ammonia. When solution stops bubbling, rinse with lots of cold water.
To remove rust stains cover with salt. Rinse, then put some lemon juice over the stain. Leave for an hour and then wash away.
To get an old black grease stain off fabric, rub gently with margarine and then wash as normal.
If you want to get ballpoint ink marks off a photograph, rub the mark with some silver polish. Then rub the same spot with some cotton wool.
To remove children’s crayon marks from walls, brush with toothpaste onto the stain and leave to harden. Wash it off afterwards.
